My second time trying fujiya and I got the chicken and shrimp steam bun. Christin in the front was so welcoming and friendly. She really cared about my order even before they were closing. Awesome service and I can’t wait to try their whole menu!!! 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

Went there to try it bc the ramen places around aren't the most flavorful. I was happy to have had a meal here. The food was more authentic than other places in the area and affordable. The service was great and the staff were so kind and helpful. The matcha there was Soo good for the price. I would definitely give this place a try.

I don’t even know where to start with this one. It was Easter. Raining. Cold. My daughter, my boyfriend and I had driven over an hour and were standing outside realizing Fujiya was closed. We were exhausted, hungry, and honestly just defeated by the day. And then the door unlocked. A girl inside saw us standing there and just — let us in. Opened the restaurant early, just for us, out of the rain, on a holiday. I haven’t experienced kindness like that from a stranger in a very long time. We sat in a warm restaurant, ate incredible ramen, and I thought about that moment for days afterward. The food is SO wonderful. But what this place did that day is the reason I’m writing this review. That’s the kind of thing you don’t forget. Thank you, Fujiya. Truly.

A Fall/Winter MUST!! Fujiya Ramen in Montclair is an absolute gem! There’s easy parking in the garage right behind the restaurant, which is a huge plus. I got the vegetarian ramen and it was phenomenal — my mouth literally watered after the first bite. The broth was rich and flavorful, and everything tasted so fresh. It’s super affordable, and I love that they offer punch cards for discounts too. Definitely my new go-to ramen spot!

This place is legit! I get takeout from here often and have dined in a handful of times, and I’m always impressed by this place. The food is authentic and made in-house, all the ingredients are fresh and what I love most is the open kitchen as you can see them preparing your food in the back. Whether you are dining in or taking out, I recommend this place for some delicious ramen, authentic katsu and curry, and tasty appetizers and drinks.
